Thank you for letting me in!

I am Lori's little sister.  She came for a visit last weekend and let me borrow her Say Go Be Do book.  I hurried really fast to get it read. Lori said I could join your group.  Thank you for that.
I have always loved the scripture that says "By small and simple things, great things come to pass."  I have referred to those words many times over the last several years in an effort to decipher what those small and simple things are that will bring the greatest results.  There is just so much to be done it can feel very overwhelming at times, and yet how comforting it is to know that so much can be eliminated as non-essential.  SayGoBeDo is not a new concept for any of us.  This 30 days is a great opportunity to renew my commitment to seeking the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost and to following the promptings that come.  When I follow, my days are still full, but so much more satisfying.  It is such a privilege to be an instrument in the Lords hands.  Rarely are the things I feel moved to do big things.  Yesterday I set out to listen, and asked to be guided in my morning prayer.  I felt I should go on a longer run.  It seemed odd and I questioned the thought as it just involved me.  I decided to set out anyway.  On my way home I saw someone walking down our driveway.  We have been praying for opportunities to share the gospel with our neighbors, so I headed straight for her, expecting it to be my neighbor.  It turned out to be an elderly lady from around the corner.  I introduced myself to her, and we had a wonderful conversation.  She and her husband moved here two years ago (not to long after we moved in), and though she said she has been walking our road regularly, I have never once seen her in these two years.  Had I not gone on a longer run I would have missed her!  She expressed how lonely they have been since coming here as they know so few people.  It is just such a wonderful thing to have met her!  Her name is Mickey Goodro, and she taught college math for 30 years! So cool...  I look forward to having her and her husband come for FHE so we can get to know them better.  Not an earth shaker, but a really important connection was made.  Like Lori mentioned, my challenge will be to refrain from going into auto-pilot mode.  Everyday is an adventure!  I am excited to hear all of your comments and experiences!  Just wish I knew you all!  Happy SayGoBeDoing!
